Thinking of
France for a change ? A good friend of ours and his wife
have just opened a place in La Rochelle, in the Charente
Maritme, the west coast area of France. Its a lovely place
(I've been there, its about 45min drive south from Nantes)
and even the locals are really nice people !
Anyway go have a look at La Vieille Ecole by clicking on
the picture.
this site has extensive info on restaurants etc around the town.
For Golf we book through GOLF LEISURE BREAKS. You can go directly to this site and book your tee times on line. They can do anything from a game for two at Mijas some time tomorrow ..... right up to organising a party of forty-odd -Accommodation, Cars, Tee times etc etc. Every day they organise competitions at different courses.
Tell them you heard about them through Magnums!
Steve Parry, who has contributed photos to our site, has
now built his own Tourist Guide. It is still under construction a bit as at 16/5/04
but take a look anyway
A long time regular at Magnums owns this Car Rental Agency. They give competitive rates but the main thing is its very easy to book on line and the car is always ready when you get there!
We know of several people having used the service, via this link, who were more than pleased.
This is where we often eat on a Monday night -our day off. Highly recommended -you might also give their other locations in the UK and Eire a shot.
Fancy Mountain Biking?
Alan and Eilish run this interesting B and B with organised trips to the Mountains in the day and Magnums for Tetley's by night.
Our friendly ISP -Internet Service Provider- click on their links button for lots of other Costa Del Sol stuff.
Here is City Hall’s own web-site. Its one of those using shockwave so if you’re a dial up user (not many left!!) it’ll take some time to come down. Anyway its a useful site that’s getting better. When you get there, you will find the Spanish version has more information. There is a ‘jpg’ map download that is very useful for newcomers.
