Perhaps the most treasured trophy on the Cost del Sol, THE THING, can be seen behind the exclusive 19th Hole Bar at Fuengirola’s Mini Golf.
To hold this trophy you must be on the day’s winning team, win the most holes in one and win the overall best score.
As you can see from the engraved plates below, this is not often achieved, there being only 44 winnings amongst just 21 people in its five years of existence. Five Times Winners become members of the 'Club Cinco del Oro', whose plaques are in gold:
Dave 'B' does it for the 4th time -will he get into the 5 time club? A splendid 37, including 4 holes in one. Ably aided by Lena & Russell (sth) a team score of 32 was achieved. That puts our Dave right on top of the leader board -well ahead of the competition (who it has to be said are fading).
